The path which brought Blue Insurance Broker to Voxloud began when one of its founders, Walter Rubeo, wanted to resolve an outstanding management issue: the company phone system.

Blue Insurance Broker had “inherited” the phone setup of a previous company belonging to the same group. The setup was catastrophic, to say the least. There were 5 active ADSL lines, one on top of another, and a traditional Telecom phone system.

The company was wasting endless money on these existing contracts. Moreover, the traditional phone system was old and obsolete, the VoIP phones were unusable and extensions could not be added due to the phone system licenses.

Unfortunately, several service disruptions occurred over the years, and for a company seeking to project the right image, being cut off from its customers for several days, with no phone connection, while waiting for the problem to be solved, was far from ideal.

Blue Insurance Broker’s office is arranged on separate floors and this static phone situation restricted even the slightest changes to its phone system.

So, the company began looking for the best Cloud phone system for its needs.

Blue Insurance Broker s.r.l. was founded in 2010 as a company within a group.

It is a “wholesale” brokerage enterprise: its customers are not companies or private individuals but other insurance intermediaries, agents and brokers who need to find insurance coverage on foreign markets that is not available in Italy.

Technically, although not legally recognized, it is referred to as a wholesale entity. This means that it doesn’t operate in retail but as a wholesaler, “supplying” other operators, especially agents and insurance companies.

To date, Blue Insurance Broker has 11 employees and will soon open a new branch outside of Italy.
